The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), a premier autonomous organization under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, sought a modern AV solution for its meeting room to support its advanced research and educational initiatives. Known for coordinating and managing agricultural research across India, ICAR required a sophisticated yet user-friendly audio-visual system to align with the aesthetics and functionality of its state-of-the-art facility.
To meet these needs, ICAR implemented a comprehensive AV setup integrating advanced solutions from globally recognized brands. The installation features Workpro Neo 5 speakers, a 2-way passive loudspeaker with a 5.25” subwoofer and a 0.5” tweeter, ensuring crystal-clear audio. For seamless communication during meetings, Clockaudio’s retractable through-table cardioid condenser microphones were installed, complemented by desk-mounted condenser microphones with programmable touchpads for push-to-talk (PTT), push-to-mute (PTM), and latching functionalities.
The system’s power is driven by Workpro and Bosch amplifiers, while Erthpot’s Keyer 88 digital signal processor ensures high-quality audio processing. This 8-input, 8-output DSP includes advanced AEC (Acoustic Echo Cancellation) for flawless sound clarity. Additionally, the setup features Biamp Tesiraforte VT’s digital audio server, offering 12 analog inputs and networked audio capabilities for streamlined configuration and control.
The ICAR team praised the solution for its sleek design, ease of use, and robust performance.
