The Assam Secretariat—formed through the merger of the Secretariat Administration Department and General Administration Department—required a modern and dependable conferencing system to support its high-level administrative operations. With frequent inter-departmental meetings, policy reviews, and daily coordination activities, the existing setup needed an upgrade that could deliver clear speech intelligibility and reliable performance.
To address this need, Erthpot deployed a professional conference communication system built around the NCS-5C Chairman Unit, NCS-5D Delegate Units, and the Keyer 88 Digital Signal Processor. The solution was designed to streamline discussions, ensure structured communication flow, and provide consistent clarity for all participants.
Chairman and delegate units were strategically positioned to create an organised and efficient meeting environment, while the Keyer 88 handled precise audio processing, noise reduction, and stable signal management. The system was fine-tuned to the room’s acoustics, guaranteeing uniform voice pickup and smooth operation during both short briefings and extended sessions.
Following the installation, the Secretariat now benefits from improved meeting productivity, uninterrupted communication, and a professional-grade audio system suited for government-level functions. The upgrade ensures clarity, consistency, and dependable performance across all official interactions.
