Front Panel Features

  • AC Power Switch
    • Controls the amplifier’s main power.
    • The Power LED illuminates when the amplifier is ON, including Standby and Run modes.
  • Protect LED (Red, Each Channel)
    • Indicates that the channel is in Protect mode and the speakers are disconnected by the output relay.
    • The LED glows bright red when the amplifier is muted.
    • This normally occurs when powering the amplifier ON or OFF. If it remains active during operation, it may indicate overheating or another protection condition.
  • Clip LED (Orange, Each Channel)
    • Flashes bright orange when clipping occurs.
    • The intensity and duration indicate the degree of clipping.
  • -4 dB LED (Green, Each Channel)
    • Indicates that the channel output has reached the upper -4 dB level.
    • Provides a warning that the signal is approaching clipping.
  • -7 / -10 / -15 dB LEDs (Green, Each Channel)
    • Illuminate when the channel output is operating between -4 dB and -15 dB below clipping.
    • This range represents the amplifier’s normal and safe operating area.
  • SIG LED (Green, Each Channel)
    • Indicates the presence of an audio signal on each channel.
    • If the LED remains illuminated without an input signal, it may indicate interference or another abnormal condition.
  • Power LED (Blue)
    • Illuminates when the amplifier is powered on.
    • The LED dims significantly when the amplifier is in Standby mode.
  • Gain Control
    • Provides independent volume control for each amplifier channel.
  • Optional Mounting Handles
    • Handles are supplied with the required Phillips-head screws.
    • Mount the handles using the round holes located inside the rack-mounting ears.
  • Ventilation Slots
    • The amplifier draws cool air through the right side and exhausts hot air through the left side.
    • This airflow helps prevent overheating inside the rack.
    • During heavy operation, the cooling fans automatically increase speed to improve heat dissipation.
