Introduction

Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (YASHADA), Pune, is the apex training institute of the Government of Maharashtra. The institution conducts high-level administrative training programs, workshops, seminars, and policy discussions for government officials and public sector professionals.

To support structured discussions and professional training sessions, YASHADA required a modern, reliable, and permanently installed conference audio system that would ensure clear communication, seamless interaction, and centralized control across its meeting and conference rooms.

Challenge

YASHADA was experiencing inconsistent speech clarity during multi-participant discussions, which affected the effectiveness of training sessions and formal meetings. The dependence on handheld microphones disrupted the natural flow of communication and slowed down interactions between chairpersons and delegates. There was also a lack of structured delegate management during formal sessions, along with limited centralized audio processing and control. Additionally, the institute required a solution that would integrate seamlessly with the conference room interiors without compromising aesthetics.

Solution

Erthpot delivered a fully integrated conference audio solution tailored to YASHADA’s functional and aesthetic needs.

The installation included the NCS 5CF Flushmount Chairman Unit positioned at the head table to provide priority control and smooth moderation during meetings. NCS 5DF Flushmount Delegate Units were installed at each participant seating position to enable structured, clear delegate interaction. NGM 512 Shotgun Microphones were strategically deployed to capture additional speech reinforcement when required.

The system was powered and managed through the Keyer 44 Digital Processing & Control unit, which handled microphone inputs, routing, mixing, and signal optimization to ensure consistent audio performance. The complete setup was professionally installed, calibrated, and integrated with the existing AV infrastructure.

The implemented solution significantly improved speech intelligibility across all sessions and created a structured communication environment for both moderators and delegates. Centralized digital audio management allowed seamless control and reliable operation during training programs and official meetings.
